These longer and thinner house signs are suitable for those with a longer house name or they make ideal farm gate signs. Please remember to measure your depth of the gate panels before ordering the correct size for you. Your wording is then laser cut into Corten steel (304 grade), on a single line creating a rustic steel sign.

Corten steel is known as "rusty steel," or weathering steel and gives a strong "rustic quality" to your sign. Our standard thickness is 1.5mm thickness steel.  Size choices are listed above but this list is not finite.

The prices listed include 12 letters/numbers/symbols per sign. If more are required then please choose the number of additional letters. These work out at £2.00 plus VAT per additional letter. If even more are needed than listed, then please email info@woodcard.co.uk for a bespoke quotation.

We can offer a variety of fixings. You have your own? No problem, we will just send the sign. Otherwise we can offer screws to match the sign. The ultimate finishing touch are our stand off fixings and we usually use two of these, one at each end of the sign.

Colour - these signs are designed to rust from an initial light rust colour that we start for you (as shown in the images on the listing). Once you have positioned your sign outside, the rust reaction will continue and the Corten sign will rust further. The colour and the patina will change and reach a rich dark umber colour (this takes 6 to 12 months depending on local weather conditions). This is the nature of this steel. Alternatively we can send the signs as per the mill finish and these will rust naturally.
