The Natural Beauty of Corten Steel

Corten steel, also known as weathering steel, is specially designed to develop a beautiful, protective rust-like patina when exposed to the elements.

We start the weathering process before supplying your planter, allowing the steel to continue developing its distinctive warm coppery-brown appearance naturally outdoors.

As the surface matures, the colour gradually deepens into rich, earthy tones, giving every planter its own unique character.

Unlike ordinary untreated mild steel, Corten steel is designed to form a protective surface layer that helps slow further corrosion under suitable outdoor conditions, making it an attractive, low-maintenance choice for garden accessories.

Perfect for Country Gardens and Outdoor Spaces

With their charming hare motifs and naturally weathered appearance, these planters are particularly suited to:

• Cottage and country-style gardens
• Patios, terraces and courtyards
• Rustic garden displays
• Seasonal flowers and herb planting
• Thoughtful gifts for gardeners and wildlife lovers

Bespoke Corten Steel Planters

Looking for something a little different?

We can manufacture these decorative hare planters in custom sizes to suit your requirements. Whether you would like a larger statement planter or a collection of matching pots, please contact us to discuss your ideas.

Please note: Corten steel continues to weather naturally outdoors. During the initial weathering process, rust-coloured water may run off the surface and stain surrounding paving or other porous materials.

Price is for one individual planter - no assembly required. Plants are not included.
